There is an excllent path between VT and Hornimam Circle. That path begins at Puncham Puri Wala and cuts through Bora Bazaar and finally opens up at the RBI museum. Take the left and you reach the imposing RBI building followed by the grand Asiatic Society Library. Climb up all the 30 steps and you will see a beautiful east west axis running through from the centre of the Horniman circle. From the circle if you go straight then reach the Fountain and exit the fort. Or if you take the left and walk straight you reach Gateway and then you reach the beginning of the erstwhile fort.

On this walk I have figured out many things, and this one is special because on this walk I have discovered my role in the history of the city. My role is to safeguard and protect and share the stories within.

These stories are both inspirational and heart breaking. What is most amazing is that this walk slows you down. The narrow lanes of the bazaar street help you to appreciate spaces otherwise taken for granted. On the orher hand, the opulence of the Taj may make you realise your place in the world.

Walking is a great experience to also learn about your own self. In my endeavours of doing more than I possibly can, I have courted hardships. But at the end of the day, I have managed to find ways when being stuck on long walks. Just walks which immerse myself into the lives of others. The above walk is one such example where you can lose yourself in thought and stumble upon on ideas.
