There is a joy in solitary work. Deep work is possible and you can work without distractions. Getting into flow is also likely to happen and of course pomodoro and other friends are not far behind.
But there is magic in working together. When ideas flow and duties are divided, execution becomes possible, and milestones start to arrive. The high fives and the candour make you forget the circadian cycle. You lose track of time and you continue to plod on, encouraged by the energy of your team.
Coffee drives away sleep but the company is what energises you and even tough insurmountable tasks become doable. In unity lies our strength and that’s when Ubuntu makes sense. I am because we are.
